T.R. Moore & Company is a Houston Area Accounting Firm and provider of professional audit, tax and consulting services to small and medium sized businesses. Recently recognized as one of the Top 25 accounting firms in the U.S. by Inside Accounting.
We are looking for the ambitious and skilled person who will manage the department and eventually move into the partner role.
Position Description:
Prepare and review tax returns. Assist with and coordinate tax work with department seniors. Work closely with partners and experienced personnel on client engagement teams. Research technical issues and communicate findings to obtain desired results.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have 7 plus years work experience with an accounting firm specializing in tax. Excellent people skills and good at supervising personnel. Good experience in public accounting. Majority of the clients are local so there is limited travel. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation consists of base salary of 90k+ commensurate with experience, and a generous tiered bonus plan, comprehensive benefits package including vacation and personal leave, medical plan and paid covered parking.
Bonus Scheme:
Annual Performance Bonus up to 10%
Revenue Bonus paid 3 times per year
