Tax Manager/Senior Manager

We are currently seeking in our Dallas office a Tax Manager/Senior Manager with management and tax expertise to meet and exceed our client’s expectations, which are the principles by which Whitley Penn LLP was founded, has grown and is recognized. This position offers excellent opportunities for learning and career advancement to the right candidate. This individual will be a key member of our team and will have a high level of responsibility by participating in and supervising multiple and challenging tax engagements while simultaneously contributing to the delivery of innovative tax and business planning ideas to our clients.

 

Responsibilities:Managing, supervising and controlling engagementsRelationship managementReview staff prepared workpapers, tax returns and evaluate staff performances

 

Qualifications:Bachelors and/or Masters degree in AccountingCPA with 7+ years of public accounting/tax experienceFAS 109 Experience preferableStrong analytical and quantitative skills and strong management skillsStrong relationship management and practice development skillsFlexibility to act autonomously while being a team playerExcellent written and oral communication skillsSpecial projects
