Do you have experience providing tax guidance for high net worth individuals? One of America’s wealthiest billionaires (on the Forbes 400 list) is seeking a Tax Manager to join the privately-held company (diverse team of investment management and finance/accounting experts) that manages his wealth and global personal business investments including: financial management of cash, public and private investments (including private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate, oil and gas partnerships and investments in pre-public companies), endowments, foundations, personal holdings (residences, aircraft, watercraft, etc.).

Tax Manager will interface directly with key decision makers on the tax implications of the full range of investments described above. As a protégé of the Senior Vice President Tax, oversee and implement a variety of tax compliance and planning issues. The opportunity involves obtaining an in-depth understanding of the group’s financial goals and working with the team to develop a strategy to achieve these goals. Oversee federal and state compliance for a diversity of entities: individuals, trusts, foundations, partnerships, LLC, and corporations. Approximately 1/3 of the tax compliance is prepared and reviewed in-house; several hundred others are prepared by CPA firms and reviewed in-house. The Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and prepare tax projections, estimates, year end planning, and extensions. Knowledge/experience with high net-worth individual tax compliance and additional experience related to trusts and foundation tax compliance will be relevant. Compensation package is excellent including salary + bonus + 401K with company matching + pension plan ++. Credentials as a CPA Tax professional with heavy emphasis on exceptional High Net-worth Individual tax compliance and additional experience related to Trusts and Foundation tax compliance will be welcomed.
