Deloitte Tax Private Client Service professionals work with clients as trusted advisors, helping them to make informed and strategic decisions relevant to their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and chartable giving - during their lifetime and through estate planning.We are currently looking for a Tax Senior Manager to join our Private Client Service Tax Group. The incumbent will possess the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, and implementation of client issues. Private Client Service Senior Managers draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements and possess a working knowledge of the range of services offered by the organization. They are responsible for targeting and selling new and add-on services to current and target clients. Senior Managers provide leadership in timely and quality delivery of services to exceed the expectations of our clients. Engagement Tax Senior Managers will have responsibility for engagement budgeting, billing, management and scheduling. They are also responsible for the development and motivation of engagement staff and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance. They have proven extensive technical expertise and have developed their reputation within this tax profession Private Client Service Tax Senior Managers must have the following qualifications: • 7 or more years of general tax experience, preferably with at least five years experience in individual, trust and business flow through entity taxation, as well as experience working with high-net worth individuals and families, corporate executives, and/or owners of closely held businesses. • Experience with a Big 4 firm or law firm is preferred. • Experience in income tax planning and compliance. • Strong written and verbal communications skills. • Excellent project management and presentation skills required. • Prior supervisory experience required. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field. • Advanced degree such as MST, JD or LLM preferred.  • CPA, CFP or PFS certification preferred. • Minimal travel requiredAbout DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
