Responsibilities:  The Family Wealth Management (FWM) Group works exclusively with high net worth individuals to provide comprehensive tax, estate planning and other vital consulting services.Prepare complex tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1041, 709 & 990-PF, and assist with research and consulting projects Interact directly with clients and their advisors Attend client meetings with a supervisor presentProactively communicate with supervisors on status of projects and assistance neededHandle administrative responsibilities including billing, interviewing candidates, participating in training as an attendee and as a co-leaderProgress professionally by working towards passing the CPA exam and staying current with federal and state tax law changes and attending continuing professional education classes

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:General accounting and tax knowledgeGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to successfully multi-task projectsEfficiency in adhering to given budgets Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with Prosystems and BNA Tax planner preferred

 

Education & Experience Requirements:BS/BBA/BA Accounting or finance related field required. Degrees in other fields considered only for applicants with a CPA license or equivalent work experience.0-3 years of professional experience required, preferably in Public AccountingCPA license preferred, but not requiredExperience working with high net worth individuals preferred
