Tax and Accounting Manager

Our client is a well established, entrepreneurial-oriented organization that has an opportunity for an individual with extensive tax compliance and tax preparation experience with small businesses.  Your accounting expertise and the ability to work with a diverse client base are other key elements for consideration.  The selected individual will be responsible for leading a department that assists with the client’s accounting, bookkeeping and tax preparation functions. 

 

Essential Functions and Requirements:

 

·  BS degree in Accounting required:

·  5+ years of accounting experience with extensive tax compliance issues;

·  CPA is highly desirable;

·  Verifiable corporate income tax compliance and preparation experience is required;

·  QuickBooks Pro Advisor with knowledge of Peachtree is highly preferred;

·  Microsoft Office Products expertise is required;

·  Mature problem solving abilities with supervisory experience;

·  Ability to manage multiple projects;

·  Ability to set goals and track progress towards completion;

·  Strong verbal and written communications skills;

·  Self-motivation and drive.
