Technical Support Specialist

Position Overview:

Bloomington-based CPA firm has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated person to assist our Network Administrator in Level 2 Technical Support. Individual will provide timely and relevant user communications and documentation and manage resolution of inbound technical calls quickly, professionally and efficiently.  This challenging position requires a positive attitude, multi-tasking skills and the ability to communicate technical information with a diverse level of technical background

 

Responsibilities Include:

Provide complex and unique technical troubleshooting assistance

Provide direct support for desktops/laptops and user access to corporate network and applications, both on the network and through remote access

Assist with employee workstation moves, set up of new hire workstations and configurations to company standards

Other responsibilities as necessary

 

Requirements:

This person should hold a minimum 2-year degree in a related field

2-3 years experience with helpdesk and desktop support

Working knowledge of Windows 2003 server, XP, and Office applications

Knowledge of Citrix Metaframe 4.0 and Exchange Server 2003

IT Admin experience (System, network, and/or database administration). 

Experience in Internet and/or Network infrastructure technologies (Web servers, network security, etc.)
Effective planning and prioritization skills

Demonstrated motivation to learn new skills and technologies

The ability to work independently or as part of a team

Excellent communication skills, especially listening skills
Limited travel within the Metro area a possibility
