Description: Staff Accountant is responsible for balance sheet accounts, including: fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll related accounts, employee receivables, accruals, Bank Reconciliations and related monthly journal entries and reconciliations. Responsibilities may include: •Reviewing and recording prepaid expenses and related amortization •Reconciling payroll related accounts such as 401k and other payroll benefit accounts •Recording monthly Investment entries •Recording and reconciling various liabilities and accrual accounts •Reconciling bank statements •Collating documentation and ensuring all reconciliations and journals are prepared in accordance with SOX documentation •Prepare and respond to information requests from internal audit and external audit Required Skills/Experience: •Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance (desired) •Two to five years accounting experience in accounting •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills •Deadline oriented •Self-starter Again, we are very motivated to find and hire the right candidate.
