Track Accountant

About You:

The right candidate for our position will be driven by a passion for accurate accounting and record-keeping and possess the following: At least 2 years of bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experience Willing to work race nights/weekends throughout the season (April – October) Previous cash handling experience a plus Knowledge of Quick Book Enterprise Solutions Detail oriented and able to multi-task Able to work in a fast paced environment Experienced in making discretionary judgments Excellent communication skills Able to maintain high degree of professionalism in a casual racetrack-based workspace

 

About the Job:

The track Accountant is responsible for the accounting of 3 motorsport race tracks, one racing series and one sanctioning body.  The job duties include, but are not limited to:  Accurate maintenance of accounting records in accordance with GAAP Recording and verifying daily financial transactions (such as cash, credit cards, merchandise, tickets, concessions and sponsorships)  Full cycle AP, AR and GL Preparing P&L Reports Bank reconciliation Timely bank deposit preparation  Backup reception/phone support
