Traffic Analyst (Bilingual) - RR

Accounting Principals is currently recruiting a contract Traffic Analyst for a major international company.  This is an excellent opportunity to work in the field of procurement while utilizing your bilingual skills. As a valued team member you will be responsible for: Coordinating shipments with vendors, freight forwarders, and clients. Determines optimal domestic and international cargo routing to minimize cost and transit time. Updates computer system with traffic information as needed. Responsible for analyzing and processing special documentation and certification for exports.  Reviews export documentation for content and accuracy to eliminate Customs problems at foreign port of entry. Interfaces daily with vendors, freight forwarders, and clients regarding movement of materials or resolution of problems. To qualify you must have:   College Degree or 10 years equivalent experience. The ability to read and interpret rate tariffs. Requires excellent knowledge of U.S. export regulations, customs laws, and regulations. Requires knowledge of Venezuelan customs laws and regulations Excellent knowledge of surface transportation, air freight, ocean freight, and export packing practices. Must be able to read dimensional drawings, and have a working knowledge of oil field and petrochemical equipment. Preferable proficiency in use of analytical skills, analytical tools/software, written/oral communications, and the SAP system.
