Transfer Pricing Senior Manager

There is a tax implication for almost every transaction a company undertakes, from trading to acquisition to offshoring. Even the most sophisticated global companies often struggle with balancing compliance details and long-term tax strategy. We have the perspective to help companies understand national, state and local and international tax structures and align the tax function with business objectives.

Inter-company transactions are increasing along with government efforts to collect related taxes. Members of the highly specialized Tax Transfer Pricing group work to help develop transfer pricing strategies, audit defense, and documentation to cover the spectrum of transfer pricing issues.

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Transfer Pricing Services Group. As a Senior Manager, responsibilities include:
* Working with Ph.D. economists, attorneys and tax specialists to analyze and resolve global tax and finance issues faced by multinational corporations.
* Establishing relationships with clients, selling services, and participating in all aspects of an engagement from the planning to the execution stage.

* Assist in determining the scope of transfer pricing projects, participate in client interviews, establish project budgets and timelines, draft proposals, and assist with presenting our transfer pricing approach to prospective clients.
* Contribute to the interview process with client management personnel and contribute significantly to the preparation of an analysis of the client's functions, markets, and risks.
* Incorporating financial information into a proprietary financial model and conducting economic, financial and accounting analyses.
* Assisting in drafting proposals, reports, document requests and other correspondence.
* Training and recruitment of personnel.
* Excellent project management and presentation skills required.

* 7 or more years of experience working in transfer pricing in an academic or consulting environment, having gained the technical skills and the professional qualities necessary to provide our clients with the quality service they expect.
* CPA, tax law background, or BA or BS in Economics with Finance or Accounting background; advanced degree preferred (Masters or PhD).
* Strong analytical abilities.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills (including strong presentation skills).
* Computer skills with knowledge of MS Excel preferred.

* Foreign language skills a plus.

* Prior supervisory experience required.

* Minimal travel required.
* Working knowledge of Compustat and Thomson Financial data a plus.
* Adept with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
