Treasury Associate

As a global leader in nourishing crops and delivering distinctive value to the world's agriculture, Mosaic offers an opportunity to share in an exciting future. We are currently seeking a Treasury Associate for our Plymouth, MN location.  Create and coordinate all reporting and compliance activities within Mosaic Treasury.  Manage the derivative confirmation process and function as a single point of contact for counterparties, accountants, and auditors.  This role will be responsible for the trade flow process from trade entry to settlement. Principle Accountabilities: Coordinate with traders and external counterparties to confirm derivative trade details in a timely manner.  This will include confirming trades in the valuation system, signing and returning confirmations to external. counterparties, and ensuring settlements are done timely and accurately. Derivative and Corporate Treasury Reporting.  Create, review, analyze, and distribute reports on all derivative and FX activity to facilitate debt compliance reporting, margin management, financial risk management compliance, Pension performance/compliance, SOX testing/compliance, and generation of accurate financial disclosures. Treasury Operations Support: Create, analyse, and generate reports based on treasury operations cash management and intercompany loan activity. Update FX and LIBOR rates as necessary. Interact with internal and external customers to provide support and answer questions. This position is covered by Mosaic’s Employee Dispute Resolution program. BA/BS degree with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting is preferred. 1-2 years of work experience in the finance/accounting field.  Familiarity with derivative instruments. Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications and Bloomberg. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Detail-oriented and strong problem solving skills.  Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Experience working with confidential material. Experience working in a trade/commodity business is preferred.
