The A/P Supervisor supports the accounts payable needs and requirements of the company.  Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Direct supervision of the Accounts Payable staffWorking knowledge of all AP functionsMaintain a high volume payables desk to ensure prompt payment of invoices.Research and solve vendor account discrepancies.Vendor statement reconciliation.Contact various company warehouses and stores and vendors to resolve discrepancies.Knowledge of Accounts Payable interface with general ledger.Ability to perform computations with reasonable speed and accuracy.Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of supervision experience in an Accounts Payable or similar environment.  An Associates Degree in Business or Accounting is required, a Bachelors Degree preferred.  Candidates must be a self motivator, who sets and achieves high standards.  Must be detail oriented and work effectively independently or as a member of a team.  Above average customer service, communication and organizational skills, data entry and analytical skills required.  Microsoft Office experience with a high proficiency with Excel is required.
