What You Will Do:

 

As the VP and Corporate Controller, reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll be responsible for general oversight of the accounting department which includes responsibility for all accounting matters for a $125M + public company.

 

In addition, the position is responsible for all SEC reporting and filing requirements, vendor payments, employee expense reporting, commission reporting and payments and working with the operating groups on revenue recognition and reporting.  The Accounting department consists of a group of approximately 10 professionals, with this position having three direct reports: Senior Accountant, Senior Revenue Accountant and Assistant Controller.

 

Essential Position Functions:

 Management of the accounting and treasury functions Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information Manage and improve the set of internal controls, policies, process and procedures Prepare the interim and annual SEC financial reportsManage the annual audit of the independent CPA firm. Present to the Company’s Audit Committee the periodic financial resultsManage a staff of accounting professionals.  Assist the CFO in the analysis and integration of any mergers and/or acquisitionsManagement of daily cash and lender relationships Manage the Company’s compliance with Sarbanes OxleyPerform other appropriate duties as may be assigned.



Position Requirements:

 

·  SEC Reporting and Filing experience.

·  Previous Accounting staff managerial/supervisory experience

·  BA/BS and CPA required, MBA is a plus

·  Larger company experience, but able to thrive in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment

·  Sarbanes-Oxley implementation experience

·  Software and technology company experience a plus

·  Experience with Oracle applications a plus

·  Experience in dealing with global customers and partners is a plus

·  Excellent communication and presentation skills

·  Strong personal leadership skills
