VP Finance Planning & Analysis

The primary duties will include financial planning and analysis activities required for corporate level decision-making; responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting, metrics (operational and financial), financial analysis and ad-hoc requirements for management.
Major Duties:
Primary functions include yet are not limited to:
*Coordination of capital and expense budget for the NE&TO organization.
*Modeling financial scenarios for the NE&TO organization showing "total cost of ownership" of the various subsystems.
*Providing financial support for new products to see the impact on the network and other project related analysis.
*collect and analyze business metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of capital spending and operating efficiencies across the company (i.e. benchmarking).
*Provide support for ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed within the organization.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS Degree in Finance or equivalent work experience.
*5-10 years of experience with Business Analytics.
*Familiarity with cable operations from a business operations perspective.
*Experience in several budgeting and planning cycles, dealing with an entire company or operating unit, not just one department.
*Excellent PC skills (advance understanding of Excel, Access & Word). A good understanding of Essbase is essential with the ability to create practical financial models to summarize complex business cases.
*Ability to analyze data and work independently.
*Good organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to work with various functional areas, including the field divisions and other Cable HQ groups.
*Objective viewpoint to serve as a strategic business partner to understand the financial impact of decisions as well as operational impact to the overall business.
