VP Regulatory Reporting: Investment Bank

 

Senior level accountant within a prominent European investment bank

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Review  balance sheet accounts to determine compliance with operational and regulatory policy

· Identify, investigate and escalate unusual balances, activity and variances.

· Assist in the development of a dashboard of critical data integrity and data quality controls

· Lead the development of the general ledger based analytical report structure in accordance with Regulation D and Regulation Q

· Provide Advisory expertise in the ongoing improvement of critical monitoring tools and reports for use by senior management with the CFO and COO groups

 

Requirements:

 

· 8 to 10 years experience with corporate financial reporting, with a minimum of 5 years in public accounting.  CPA preferred.

· Experience in US GAAP accounting, financial statement preparation or audit.

· Strong knowledge of regulatory processes in top tier banks.

· Experience of the management of a Regulatory Reporting

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

· Good project manager skills.

· Good interpersonal skills with team work orientation and participatory management style.

· MS Access, Project and Power Point proficient. PeopleSoft experience a plus.
