Building wealth and rewarding careers, Countrywide Bank, FSB, is one of the largest banks in the nation with current assets of more than $100 billion.* From offering highly competitive deposit product rates to outstanding career possibilities, experience the extreme value we place on entrepreneurial talents and our team’s innovations.  * Based on current assets and other banking data reported to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) 1st quarter, 2007.   Vice President, Wire-Room Operations  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Maintaining an Operating framework for the CW Bank's Wire-Transfer functions·  Developing, documenting and maintaining appropriate Processing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance·  Providing value-added customer-service for Wire-Transfer products·  Closely interfacing with Deposit Operations, Treasury Management, Vendors, Federal Reserve and customers in support of Wire-Transfer product objectives·  Supervising staff to ensure the timely processing of all authorized transactions (in accordance with appropriate procedures and audit-controls)·  Ensuring that adequate resources and training exist·  Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and ensuring that such commitment to compliance is thoroughly communicated to staff, internal and external clients and other parties within assigned area of responsibility   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  High school diploma, GED or equivalent·  5+ years experience in the Banking industry (at a commercial bank, thrift and/or credit union)·  5+ years of general-office experience—including at least 2 years experience managing a Banking-Operations staff of 5+ individuals·  Experience managing and participating in a team environment·  Proven strategic-planning and creative-thinking skills·  Initiative and ability to work independently·  Experience with Wire Transfers·  Experience with day-one and day-two reconciliation·  Experience with process design and improvement·  Effective verbal and written communication skills·  Ability to effectively interact with Management·  Familiarity with UCC4A, Regulation J, BSA, Wire Systems and industry "best-practices"    Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
