VP of Finance

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Working closely with the senior management team to continuously improve business performance and safeguard company assets.
• Producing timely reports of financial position for Parent Company

• Preparation of commercial presentations in support of business development activities.
• Direction of budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Responsibility for treasury functions.
• Maintaining internal controls in line with corporate governance policies and procedures.
• Management of property tax filings and insurance
• Administration of Worker’s Compensation self insurance program.
• Overseeing company government audits and working with internal and external auditors


Qualifications:
Demonstrable diversified and progressively more responsible experience directing the financial functions in a $10M+ manufacturing company for 10+ years. Experience with Aerospace or government industry is a plus.

The successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate:
• Competency across various finance functions.
• A strong overall business sense founded in integrity and sound judgment. Active participation in executive decision making activity and the ability to positively impact the long-term success of the business.
• A high level of facilitation skills including the ability to draw on the ideas of employees and operating management and convert them into meaningful processes and procedures.
• An ability to develop comprehensive, cost-effective solutions to operational problems.
• A unique blend of skills encompassing demonstrated executive leadership plus a willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and perform multiple tasks, often with limited support, in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Education
Undergraduate degrees in accounting or finance with an MBA are required.
