VP of Finance and Accounting

High-end restaurant chain with international name recognition is looking for an individual to join the executive management team. This organization is set to double over the next few years, and there is an opportunity to help lead this process. Reporting to the EVP this individual will oversee the following.

-Direction of reporting of monthly results of Corporation -Monthly reports to Board analyzing results

-Management of IT system (with consultant)

-Tax planning and compliance

-Insurance procurement, all types

-Daily and ongoing management of cash and investments

-Direction of annual financial audits

-Responsible for a department of 5 positions

-Responsible for all functions of accounting, finance, payroll/benefits, information technology and personnel.

Must have previous experience in a multi-location work environment, restaurant preferred. 10-15 years accounting and finance experience 5 of which in a key management role. CPA, or MBA preferred. Experience with contract and lease negotiations, and ability to manage software conversions. Excellent work environment and benefits.
