Vice President/Controller

Our client, a North Carolina based Financial Institution is in search for a Vice President/Controller. Based in Raleigh, this position will be responsible for managing the company's daily accounting/finance operations, including Financial Reporting and Analysis, Month-End Close, and implementation of policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities will include oversight of the G/L, establishment and management of Cost Controls, coordination of the annual audit and supervision and management of the departmental staff.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years Accounting management experience within an insured financial services company. A B.A degree is required and a CPA license is preferred. A thorough knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory procedures is also required.
