HighlightsAIG Job ID: AIGD-PLD-ea-VPController-GFPosition Type: Full Time - RegularLocation: DE-WilmingtonRelocation: NoRequirementsEducation: BachelorsExperience: 10+ yearsDescription: Position Description:-Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the consolidated Personal Lines Division GAAP reporting package (SI).-Responsible for the accurate and timely statutory (STAT) and compliance reporting for the Personal Lines Division.-Responsible for developing, enhancing and monitoring the overall internal control environment and ensuring compliance with AIG corporate standards as well as the Sarbanes Oxley Act.-Responsible for providing GAAP and Statutory technical guidance on accounting and financial reporting matters.-Review proposed modifications to GAAP and Statutory literature and provide an assessment of its implications on Personal Lines financial matters.-Provide leadership for strong team of professional Accounting, Reporting and Compliance, and Internal Control staff.Position Requirements:-Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline and/or equivalent education and work experience.-CPA strongly preferred.-10 plus years of increasing responsibility in accounting, budget, financial analysis including significant supervisory/management experience.-Strong communication, managerial, organization development, and analytical skills.-Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) and National Accounting Standards for the insurance industry.-Microsoft Office is required.-Knowledge of accounting software related to the general ledger, billing, accounts payable and enterprise resource planning.Please submit resume with salary requirement to AIGJobConnect@aig.com or fax to 302-252-2422.
