VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE
Multinational Experience Required
We are a customer relationship management multinational provider of Business Process Outsourcing services. We provide a full range of services through multiple communications channels to help clients identify, acquire, retain, service, measure and maximize the lifetime value of their customer relationships.
This individual will function as a key team member, by effectively managing our multinational finance accountabilities. By utilizing superior international financial leadership skills, he/she will successfully build a team that provides accurate analysis, planning, controls and in-depth financial reporting.
Position Responsibilities:
This significant individual will be responsible for accounting, analysis, and tax and treasury functions for the corporation. Responsibilities will include managing all activities relating to financial controls and analysis of country/city build-out locations; directing the effective installation of all necessary finance reporting systems and controls; participating in foreign exchange activities, cash management, risk analysis, overseas banking, and governmental negotiations. Travel requirements are approximately 25%.
Providing guidance to the CFO and the CEO, the Vice President of Finance will be responsible for monitoring financial process and policy requirements, international business location financing, profitability analysis, forecasts, budgets, statutory reports, and audits.Prepare spreadsheet-based models which will serve as the basis for budgeting/forecasting and the assessment of new business opportunities.Leverage existing relationships with outside contacts and develop new ones that will include governmental officials, accounting firms, telecom equipment providers, and labor sources.
Professional and Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA strongly desired. MBA a plus.Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience. "Big 4" public accounting experience a plus, including seven or more years in international finance and management.Technical and comprehensive knowledge of international finance, financial planning, accounting and tax areas of a business. Strong knowledge of IASB, FASB and international tax codes.Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.Experience in the design and implementation of internal financial systems and controls. The knowledge of information technology controls is necessary.Tax planning experience in structuring foreign operations to maximize tax benefits, and sufficient working knowledge of international tax to identify tax savings opportunities and compliance issues.
