Web Developer Job Description:The Web Developer is responsible for development activities related to the Firm's internal website including .NET and SQL development. The Web Developer will be responsible for the development and support in a Microsoft environment for the Plante and Moran website.Responsibilities Include:Programming in ASP and ASP.NET (VB and/or C#) Update, support and maintain Microsoft applicationsSQL Server programming, views, table structure and transact-SQLSQL Server administration (SQL agent, linked servers, security, backups)IIS AdministrationData integration (concepts and technologies)Troubleshooting problemsRequirements:3-4 years of .NET and web development experienceSQL Server programming and server administrationDevelopment and support of Microsoft applicationsExperience with a structured methodology (worked in a full systems development lifecycle)On call and overtime responsibilitiesPreferred Skills:Experience with any or all of the following: Writing Microsoft (SOAP) Web Interfaces, Cognos ReportNet, DB2, Microsoft CMS, Lotus Notes/Domino, Visual Studio.NET, Visual Source Safe, Sharepoint, and CMSStrong multitasking skillsDetail orientedGood communication skillsEducation/Experience:BA or BS in Computer Science, CIS, or related fieldPLEASE APPLY ONLINE AT:
