We are a mid-sized professional services firm which provides both Auditing and Consulting Services.  We are seeking a thick skinned Word Processing Supervisor for our Audit Practice.  This is a fast paced pressure cooker that can be chaotic at times.  The partners are fun to work with but will constantly ask you for updates and interrupt each other trying to move their clients to the front of the line.  If you thrive on this adrenaline rush, then this is the place for you!

 

Responsibilities include:

 Supervises a team of Word Processors and Proofreaders in the full document production life cycle.Takes in and logs all work and maintains all logs and tracking tools properly at all times. Provides coaching and instruction as necessary.Conducts or assists in the investigation of end user issues/complaints and assists with the delivery of an appropriate remedy and response. May assist with caller inquiries regarding Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF and other miscellaneous application, and how-to questions.Will maintain standards of performance, implementing and gaining compliance with operating policies, procedures, and best practices, and ensuring the client’s expectations for quality, service and timeliness are met and exceeded if possible. Provides technical or procedural guidance to team members. Conduct skills assessments, recommending skills development programs, implementing individual training and cross training for staff. Must be able to pitch-in whenever needed in order to keep the workflow moving Monitors support activities and informs all appropriate parties of any perceived trends, positive or negative, for services rendered and/or solutions being employed or desired by the client community.Needs to have a “whatever it takes” attitude.Ability to multitask. Ability to work overtime as required. 

 

Job Requirements include:

 Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (6-10 years). Two to four years supervisory experience in a legal/financial document processing environment.Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office applications.  MOUS certifications a plus.Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills.Proven client service skills, including satisfying multiple internal clients.Ability to execute and deliver quality work product.Proven ability to work efficiently within an environment that is fast paced, sometimes chaotic, and involves shifting priorities.Strong problem solving skills.Ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to details.Strong project management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
