GM Ryan is a professional search firm narrowly focused on the Digital Media industry.  Serving the venture capital and corporate community, we place high impact performers with growing companies throughout the United States.  Our client is looking for an online marketing account manager/planner to join our fast-growing interactive department. The right individual, reporting to the Director of Interactive, will be responsible for the day-to-day aspects of managing our national & local client base. This position will play an integral role in establishing client needs and/or proactively developing strategies to help achieve overall client goals in the interactive environment including online advertising, search marketing, email, mobile and other disciplines as needed. This person will work closely with teams who specialize in these areas. Detailed description: Media - Understand the elements and requirements on the media strategy and plan and be able to deliver the messaging and assets that meet the needs. Measurement - to identify opportunities to test and measure programs and provide assistance on creating plansTechnology - ensure that all tracking is in place and thorough QA is enforced Project Management Serve as liaison between creative team, the clients and other departments in the agency Directly responsible for creative development and production. Develops creative strategies that effectively describe the purpose of the program for creative to concept  Identifies opportunities for differential creative treatment per the target audience Conducts briefings for internal team outlining specifics of project, business objectives, client strategy, requirements, budget, schedule, job number. Articulates client’s brand attributes and ensures it is incorporated into marketing recommendations and creative. Monitors program execution to ensure team has the proper level of support to deliver on time and on budget Client Relationship Maintains strong mid-level client relationships to understand their key marketing objectives for all programs Understands clients business, industry, competitors, key drivers, environment, etc. Strategic function Provides insight to the team on client industry and competitive landscape Understand other media channels (offline and BTL) to ensure creative and messaging synergy and create online creative strategy with alignment in mind. Oversees development of offer strategies and promotions Synthesizes program results into high-level results; develops case studies in association with other client leads Ensures written documents and client presentations clearly articulate strategic vision Team Management Responsible for training, providing guidance, establishing goals and providing an appropriate level of feedback on a regular basis to junior associates Takes responsibility for own career by meeting with Supervisor regularly to review progress against goals Establishes and grows relationships across team and capabilities Basic Requirements 2+ years proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns within an agency setting is a must Excellent people skills and client relationship development skills Strong communication skills : written, verbal and presentation Demonstrated multiple years of experience developing marketing strategies Agency experience or Marketing department experience preferred Bachelor’s degree required Word, Excel and PowerPoint MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
