The Position:
Are you a rock star? The Ecast Network is looking for passionate digital media professionals to join our burgeoning digital music and media network. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in media sales and a strong understanding of the digital media landscape. Our existing clients include some of the largest consumer brands in the United States and we need the right people who have had success selling into Fortune 500 companies.
The Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include client prospecting, rapidly building a sales pipeline, and meeting a quarterly sales target across defined advertiser verticals (e.g. beer & spirits; automotive; entertainment; communications). Candidate will be required to deliver client presentations to both agencies and advertisers, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful post campaign management.
Candidate must be self-directed and independent, comfortable in a start-up environment, and capable of driving sales from initial cold-call through contract execution. The Sales Executive is expected to understand and articulate Ecast Network’s value proposition to the advertising community.
The Qualifications:
· 5+ years of digital media sales experience
· The ability to reach and sell senior level decision makers
· Proven track record of success in meeting quarterly sales targets
· Demonstrated experience in developing and managing significant advertising sponsorships
· Self-starter – the ability to work within a fast moving organization
· Must possess a working knowledge of all media measurement metrics, technologies, and research tools used by advertisers and agencies.
· Bachelor’s Degree required
