Job SummaryThe Advertising Manager is primarily responsible for the development and management of all marketing media plans; the corresponding media buy investments and broadcast media creative. Key Tasks and Responsibilities  The position primarily supports the Toys  U.S. division, but also lends support to BRU and other departments, and is also responsible for the day-to-day management of contracted advertising agencies. Secondary responsibilities include helping management of all marketing media communication, media budgets and expenditures, opportunistic media proposals and the development and execution of media integrations and promotions. Tertiary responsibilities include developing media test strategies, tracking competitive advertising, maintaining the marketing media kit and other miscellaneous and ad-hoc responsibilities and requests. Additionally, the Manager is also responsible for supervising the Coordinator of Media Planning. Bachelor’s Degree Approximately 5+ years of media experience (planning or managing of retail accounts preferred). The incumbent must have a solid understanding of media analysis & media math, strong project management skills and a Proactive work ethic. Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and grammatical proofing skills are strongly desired. Proficiencies using Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook are preferred.
