Account Executive

This Account Executive position with New Northwest Broadcasters is one of the few great paying jobs in Yakima.  Successful candidates could be earning more than $75,000 after just a few years.  It is not unusual for our new recruits who have the ability to learn and the the drive to succeed to be earning more than $45,000 at the end of their first year.



Job Description:



As an account executive for New Northwest Broadcasters you will utilize the resources of 6, top-rated radio stations to create custom marketing campaigns for new customers. The candidate we will hire does not need to have previous media or sales experience. What is required for success is the ability to learn and the ambition to earn bigger paychecks.



Candidate Profile:



*Listening Skills: You must have the ability to ask the right questions and listen closely to uncover the unique business needs of each customer.



*Creativity: You must have the ability to build custom solutions to fulfill the unique challenges of our customers utilizing the resources of our 6 top-rated radio stations.



*Presentation Skills: You must have the ability to clearly articulate the benefits of your custom solutions through compelling written and oral presentations.



*Time Management Skills: You must have the ability to organize your days to ensure attention to the needs of current customers while continuing to develop new customers.



*Technology Skills: You must have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook to build presentations and ensure flawless communications with your customers. You must also be able to utilize the worldwide web to gather information pertinent to the development of new business.

 

*Education and Licensing Requirements:High school diploma. A valid drivers license.


Compensation: The person we will hire will be paid a salary during an extended training period. The compensation package then evolves into a draw versus commission plan to allow you to earn the largest paychecks possible. The amount of each paycheck is determined only be your ambition and ability.
