Account Executive, B2B Events

1105 Media, Inc. is looking for a dynamic sales professional who will be responsible for all aspects of the selling of sponsorships for our conferences and special events for our Enterprise Computing Group (ECG).  This sales position includes the following responsibilities:  prospecting, identifying and qualifying, cold-calling, proposal writing, negotiating and closing sales.  This position reports to the director of sales; compensation includes base salary and commissions/bonuses based on meeting sales goals.

 Specific duties include:Develop, maintain and service existing accounts Maintain and build database of prospects and customers Maintain a pipeline of prospects for each event Develop creative and compelling proposals suited to the specific promotional needs of individual potential customers Close sales and meet revenue objectives for booth space, sponsorship and merchandising opportunities Regularly provide accurate sales forecasts (monthly, quarterly, yearly) Maintain collaborative atmosphere by sharing input and ideas received from prospects and customers Coordinate supporting face-to-face customer meetings with senior management Offer input to Marketing staff in the development of cost-effective marketing and sales materials Interacts continually with clients to ensure a high level of satisfaction

 Requirements:

· A minimum of 3 years of successful B2B sales experience; event/trade show sales preferred

· Engaging and persuasive phone manner

· Excellent communications skills

· Proficiency in MS Office
