Account Executive - Consumer & Lifestyle

BNC Los Angeles is currently seeking an Account Executive in our Consumer & Lifestyle Media Relations team. 

 

The AE’s primary responsibilities are to:  Draft media relations materials such as press releases, pitch letters, proposals, and media  plans Pitch clients to mediaGenerate story ideas and topic anglesManage speakers bureau activitiesActively participate in client meetings, conference calls and presentationsProvide basic client counsel in regards to media relations Conduct and manage research that analyzes client issues and trend reportingMonitor media coverage of client news and competitor developmentsDevelop and maintain strong contacts/relationships with the mediaDemonstrate knowledge of media tour scheduling

 Position Requirements3-5 years Media Relations experience in an agency setting or Very strong writing skills are a mustExceptional media relations skillsExisting media contacts across multiple areasKnowledge of media in consumer and lifestyle categoriesExperience with communicating directly with clientsProven ability to meet deadlines, and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in PR-related software and databasesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
