Account Executive Cosmetics AVEDA Outside Sales Representative

Neill Corporation is the largest independent distributor of Aveda products in the world. We work with a 10 state region covering Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. We are currently seeking fun, fashionable, experienced sales gurus for the position of Account Executives in our Mississippi and Alabama territories. Our Aveda account executives are called Salon Development Partners (SDP), and we do just that-- We partner with salons to develop their business!
Important Note to Applicants: A sense of humor is a 'plus', along with a scrupulous work ethic, resolute disdain of 'slackers', and attention to detail that would scare a drill sergeant. Seasoned pros and scrappy young go-getters welcome, but you’ll have to prove you’ve got what it takes. Cry-babies, finger-pointers and mean people need not apply.

Why you’re right for this position (qualifications): Looking for a "sales tiger" Only those who love to sell need apply. Experience in retail beauty sales management, cosmetics account coordination, outside sales of a luxury brand, salon industry or outside sales - industry specific not necessary, but a huge plus! Must have a fashion-forward, updated professional image Must be passionate about fashion, beauty and hair care products Must be able to enthusiastically perform a basic make-up application including foundation, powder, blush, and lip color(or super-excited to learn how) Must have a student mentality and the ability to take action immediately on what you learn Thrive on building lasting customer relationships Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills Confident, charismatic and comfortable presenting /sharing ideas and representing the brand Ability to captivate groups of people using fun-filled flair and innovative ideas to sell products, education, and motivate customers to take action Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers Ability to work well both independently and as a team player Thrives in a fast-paced, ever changing work environment Proven ability to plan, set and achieve goals Driven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectations Strong organizational and follow-up skills Understanding of strategy implementation Ability to work a flexible work schedule with possible overnight travel of 3-6 days per month Strong computer skills: ability to fully utilize email by sending, saving and opening attachments. Use of Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point, and Word. Valid drivers license Reliable transportation
Primary Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited to: Responsible for all aspects of his/her assigned territory Strengthen and build existing relationships with account base Manage all account activity Sell-in new product launches, expand line to include all product domains Sell in technical and business educational events Implement sell-thru strategy including event coordination and involvement Develop action plans to insure meeting sales targets Selling and demonstrating the Aveda brand: including but not limited to--performing hands-on product experiences in salon retail area and on salon staff (this means touching people) Performs basic make-up application including foundation, powder, blush, and lip colour to demonstrate and sell new face colour products Connect territory accounts with all of Neill Corporation’s supporting business units Support Neill sponsored education events Resolve customer issues timely and effectively Prospect and develop new business Lead interactive salon staff meetings, educating account base on product knowledge, industry events, and up-coming product launches Conduct effective salon owner/manager meetings Merchandise product in account base including retail area and professional service area according to Aveda Schematics Ensure account base maintains proper inventory levels Ensure adherence to Aveda’s marketing and branding guidelines Fill customer orders as needed Maintain and update customer files and records Develop a business strategy per account for sales and a plan to execute Maintain an effective and efficient in salon call cycle ensuring that all customers receive attention and support Partner with account base to implement business strategy and industry best practice to build their businessIf you feel like we just described YOU-- Apply Now and tell us why you'd love to work here!
