TheHomeMag is looking for a vibrant, outgoing, self starter to join their team as an Advertising Sales Consultant in Orange County CA.  Excellent interpersonal skills are critical to succeed in this position.

 

The ideal candidate will be driven, loyal, outgoing and great at networking, be an empathic listener, facilitating impressions and decisions to flow through the conversation, collaborate and communicate in an effective manner, take advantage of the sales training program and process in place, and have exceptional social skills and prior sales experience.

 

An Advertising Sales Consultant acts as a link between his/her clients and our company. He/She will utilize the company’s art department and good listening skills to create an effective, industry leading advertising campaign for his/her client.

 

Duties:Set up meetings with prospective clients and other advertising agency staffDiscuss products, services and advertising requirements of each particular clientLiaise with and act as the link between the client and the company by regularly maintaining contact with both and ensuring that communication flows effectivelyOversee the status of the advertisement and negotiate with both the client and art department about the details of the final proofHelp secure new business by actively recruiting new customers all the timeGain, maintain familiarity with changes in the client’s products, business culture or campaigns while monitoring progress and recording results of prior advertisementsPresent advertisement proofs to clients while adhering to deadlines Assist and maintain current client base in an advisory capacity Maintain the companies proprietary contact management software in an efficient and timely mannerConstantly generate a stream of prospects filling your sales funnel for new business
