 Purpose: Manage boutique designfirm client projects from conception through production to delivery. Mange theprocess of providing outstanding creative solutions with quality clientservice. Manage the design process with designers, brainstorm concepts andcreative ideas, and move workflow effortlessly through the company. Manage allexecution of projects that include print, packaging, Advertising, websites, e-marketingcampaigns, tradeshow graphics, event planning, branding, and more. Set goalsand processes to better streamline projects. Strive for flawless execution. TheAE will manage all client budgets and ensure profits are being made. Set upplan to get new business and help market the company to obtain new business.

 Who we want: We are looking for a high energy, well organized, self motivated, creative thinkerwith excellent communication skills! Looking for a take charge, detailed,motivated, self starter that can manage projects from start to finish,troubleshooting and developing solutions as necessary along the way.  Must understand and have working knowledge ofthe entire print production process. AE will work on both print and websiteprojects, managing budgets, timelines, and work flow with designers through toproduction. You will help create website site maps, edit copy/content andbrainstorm creative ideas for websites and print projects.

 Accountabilities: Must have the ability toorganize, plan, and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Must beable to take initiative, and project ownership without direct supervision. Mustbe able to make decisions that are knowledge based that create great results. Creativity, attention todetail, self-motivation, organization, excellent work ethic and a genuinepassion to learn and help grow the business are all qualities that will landyou success in this position. Excellent Oral and Written communication skillsabsolutely a must. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred.

 

Responsibilities Include: Manage. Manage the creative process including scheduling and prioritizing graphic designers work load. Initiative. Takes complete ownership of projects and makes influential decisions about creative, copy and production process. Client Service. Talk with clients directly on initial client projects, qualifying incoming referrals, present comps to clients, prepare timelines, estimates, and proposals.Vendor Relations. Communicate with outside vendors to negotiate and obtain pricing for projects. Maintain new, existing and ongoing relationships with vendors and 3rd party resources.Presentation. Develop and produce proposals for clients with project details and pricing information Follow Through. Follow through from start to finish on all projects maintaining high level of organization and confidence with client, including daily follow up with vendors to ensure proper delivery. Detailed. Review creative materials to ensure all details have been followed based on client direction. Project Management. Maintain weekly project schedule with detail and accuracy. Communication. Must be an expert in communication to deal with all levels of people involved in a project to ensure proper delivery of projects. Budget Focused. Tracks all budget related information related to each project in an organized way to ensure final reports and invoices are generated with complete accuracy. Time Management. Properly and timely notifies upper management of any issues during a project that might hinder, delay or hurt the process. New Business. Makes efforts to obtain new business from outside the company and through existing clients by being aware and proactive of potential new business growth opportunities (Note: This is not required but this situation has bonus potential).

 

RequiredSkills/Abilities:

Proven leadership andinfluencing abilities. Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.Complete confidence in decision making without supervision with authority to doso. Excellent analytical skills in determining best processes for problemsolving with options for solutions. Detail oriented. Creative and Conceptualeye for design and marketing. Print Production Knowledge and the entire processa MUST. Must understand budgeting, P & L, and be organized to handle clientbudgets. AE will have managingauthority to make decisions on all client projects as well as for internaldelegating decisions and responsibilities. Must have the ability to beaccountable and have the know how to make things happen. Become a mentor andteam leader/manager and be able to take ownership and complete initiative onall projects.


Requirements:

Bachelors degree inBusiness, Advertising or Marketing preferred. Marketing Experience and/orAgency experience.

3-5 years experienceworking in an Ad Agency environment, Graphic Design Firm, Client side in amarketing or branding role, or as a Project Manager or Account Executive in arelated field.

Knowledge of thecreative process and how it relates to a customers business.

Working Knowledge ofPrint production and the entire process.

Must have demonstratedsuccess project planning, resource planning, budgets and project timing

Experience using thefollowing programs: Word, Excel, PPT

NOTE: We are not lookingfor a Graphic Designer at this time. This is an Account Executive/ProjectManager Position.
