Executive Account Manager  (publishing / online marketing)

 

AmstelNet offers online direct marketing techniques to major companies by combining marketing expertise with the development of web applications. From our offices in The Netherlands and New York we support clients based in Europe, the Americas and Asia. AmstelNet’s main area of specialization is the international publishing industry, which includes clients like The Financial Times, The Economist, EMAP and The Washington Post. For these and new clients we are currently seeking a motivated Project/Account Manager at executive level for our New York office.



The Project Manager’s role is a client facing position, providing technical account management and support to clients to enable them to meet their online marketing objectives using AmstelNet’s technology. This includes project development, implementation and end user support. This is a technical account role in a fast paced, flexible and innovative environment with a strong client services focus.



Responsibilities:

· provide technical account management and support to assigned internal and external clients

· seek ways to improve current technology and business processes

· identify, reproduce, and resolve technical issues as they relate to our technology

· track and document technical issues and processes

· generate client specific reporting

· manage short-term and long-term projects

 

 

Requirements:



· Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Systems or Marketing

· basic understanding of internet related programming

· at least 1 year experience in client services industry in internet marketing, agency or media environment (preferably Publishing)

· strong problem-solving and project participation skills

· customer-focused work ethic with high standard of service and quality control

· flexible working attitude

· professional verbal and written communication skills

· fluent in English (preferably native English speaking)

· skilled in basic (MS) office software
