This position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients in the Insurance services sector.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated consultative sales executive who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is self-motivated, has strong networking skills, is performance-oriented, maintains a high level of outbound activity and enjoys working in open and collaborative sales environment. 

Responsibilities:

Maintain Mintel's industry leading renewal rates
Grow existing accounts
Secure multi-year contracts
Network throughout prospect and client organization maintaining multiple contacts for each account
Engage with VP and C-level executives in prospect and client organizations
Become a trusted advisor for all clients within territory
Maintain expertise in all Mintel Insurance products and services
Develop creative market research solutions to meet client needs
Increase awareness of Mintel's Insurance services solutions within the client's organization
Build account level business plans
Manage renewal and upgrade pipelines that are 3X target
Deliver exceptional sales results against target
Leverage Mintel's CRM system to maintain business continuity
Collaborate effectively with Mintel's internal resources to deliver business results
Travel 50% of the time

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Track record demonstrating past success 
5 years experience in business to business direct sales
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical and planning skills
Proven experience in generating new business sales
Strong business development background
Success in establishing and expanding client relationship and maximizing the revenue potential in each account
Highly polished, professional and consultative selling style
Experience selling within and to the financial services industry
Desire to be part of a high growth environment
