Account Representative / Account Executive
MCS is a health care public relations firm based in Bedminster, NJ. We specialize in medical communications for pharmaceutical companies, and are looking to fill the following positions:
Account Representative
l Salary Range: $30,000 - $35,000
o Entry-level position for a resourceful, energetic, self-starter
o Able to prioritize and work within deadlines
o Daily media monitoring
o Assist in conducting research and contacting media
o Responsible for drafting news releases, backgrounders, and newsletters
o Assist with meeting planning and arrangements
o Proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint a plus
Account Executive
l Salary Range: $36,000 - $42,000
o Able to prioritize and work within deadlines
o Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness
o Daily media monitoring
o Responsible for writing press materials, newsletters and client reports
o Assist in conducting research and contacting media
o Day-to-day contact with clients; in person, by e-mail and by telephone
o Assist with meeting planning and arrangements
o Assist in the development of public relations programs for clients
o Proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint a plus
o Familiarity/experience with all phases of public relations activities a MUST!
Prior PR experience a plus!
