Account Supervisor for major promotions agency - food service experience a plus

 General description and duties:

· Integral member of brand team with the agency and the client in developing and managing client business

· Provides category expertise and leadership in guiding internal teams across the agency to meet client goals ensuring that brand strategy and objectives are being met

· Develops rapport with clients troubleshooting conflicts as they arise

· Leads the development of strategic solutions (sales promotions, event marketing, sponsorship activation, and appropriate media support) which build brand equity and deliver results for the client

· Plans and executes assignments that are on strategy, on time and on budget

· Delivers polished Client presentations

· Actively contributes to overall idea generation with agency team

· Ensures that the financial aspects of the programs/account(s) are managed according to agency procedures

· Mentors more junior team members, may supervise a AE or AAE

· Develops core area(s) of expertise* (either discipline or functional – i.e., sponsorship, new business, etc.)

 

Experience and credentials:

· 7+ years of relevant experience

· 3+ years agency experience

· Developing an expertise in one of Momentum’s core disciplines

· Demonstrates a “client management philosophy” that fits within the Momentum model

· The position will not have any direct reports, but Proven success in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in achieving established objectives is very important. The position will work with the following:

o  Compliance, creative team, production, events, purchasing

· Regularly delivers quality work (creatively and strategically solid) within budget parameters

· Successful leadership of clients

· Successful negotiator of tie-in partners, sponsorships, etc.

· Food service and/or QSR experience is a plus

· Ideal candidate will have experience in client management, sales promotion, event marketing – planning and execution

· Some travel to events and Columbus (Wendy’s headquarters)

· Accounts include Wendy’s, P&G events and Regional Coca-Cola
