Accounting Manager

Our Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing A/P, A/R, billing, and other accounting functions. This is a hands-on position that reports directly to the CFO/Controller and supervises a staff of one to two.


The Accounting Manager will receive training en route to becoming the resident expert in Clients and Profits, our agency accounting software.  Over time, this skill set will provide the capability to develop and implement internal training programs for new and existing staff members.


Other responsibilities include sales tax returns, fixed asset schedules, account analysis, assistance with audits, interfacing with and providing accounting assistance to other departments, maintaining effective internal controls, and problem resolution.


Required skills and experience:


·      Minimum of ten (10) years experience in accounting

·      Minimum of five (5) years experience managing and supervising A/P, A/R, billing and other accounting functions

·      Management mentality and desire to accept further responsibilities

·      Superior organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

·      A passion for detail and flexibility with changing priorities

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·      Intermediate to advanced excel skills

·      Excellent computer skills in a MAC environment; experience with accounting in an advertising environment is a plus

·      Experience with Clients & Profits or other agency software is a plus
