Administrative Business Analyst

Administrative Business Analyst opening in Connecticut. Responsible for the administrative management of assumed client accounts and for all aspects of Life reinsurance processes relative to the US individual life reinsurance market. Responsibilities: Log, track, store and map cession data from clients - both transaction and inforce; validate cession records to treaty parameters to validate against standards and tolerances; perform client administrative desk audits, both internal and external; work with clients on any data clarity, quality, changes and timing issues; utilize query tools to determine data issues; trouble-shoot processing errors and resolve; process assumed Self Administered premium; validate Self Administered inforce/billing information for reasonableness; perform suspense code posting/clearance prepare feeds to PeopleSoft; gather and record client reserve data; participate in special assignments and projects as requested; perform retention management processes and log, track, store and create retrocession data for applicable policies. Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience; successful completion of LOMA classes towards FLMI is desirable and 3+ years of experience in US individual life assumed reinsurance cession management processing. Demonstrated analytical, problem-identification and resolution skills; extremely detail oriented; crystal Reports, SAS or other reporting tool experience. Salary $ Open.
