Advertising Account Executive
Description:Viamedia, a Cable TV advertising Company representing Verizon in the Richmond Virginia area, has an exciting opportunity for an Advertising Account Executive to sell commercial television time on 53 major cable networks to local/regional businesses and advertising agencies. Duties also include effectively prospecting via the phone and in person, servicing repeat business through highly visible follow-through procedures, A/R management. Organize time productively to maximize selling opportunities.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred, but experience can substitute for education. Must have two years of successful outside or media sales experience. Excellent organizational and writing skills. Must be able to determine client’s needs by continuing assessment of the market place, availability of advertising inventory, programming, promotions, and related activities. Must be resourceful in developing new business leads. Ability to effectively communicate to customers and provide excellent customer service.
