Major Duties and Functions Include: This is a Full Time Employee position with Metlife and will be a position similar to an Assistant Manger role. Responsible for the development and execution of marketing advertising plans, promotions and communications. Scope likely to include U.S. lines of business, MetLife Foundation and ad hoc projects. Defines competitive market requirements and advertising opportunities and providing on-going advertising support to ensure the competitiveness of existing products. Work with vendors and specialist agencies to place advertisements in various mediums and adjust global campaigns to local market, which will include Internet as an increasingly important medium. Supports the advertising communications needs of designated department(s). Counsels business management in developing and executing advertising programs to effectively promote products and services. Assists and coordinates production of materials, approval of ads, trafficking of ads and billing. What You Need to Succeed: Must have 4-5 years of integrated advertising experience including television, radio, print and online. Solid knowledge is required of media planning, implementation & post-analysis -- media planning and/or account management, client-side or related experience with significant media activity. Online advertising/marketing experience - strategy, production and post-analysis is required. Must have proven ability to manage and meet marketing metrics/ROI. Must have demonstrated ability to think strategically, understand/learn new processes and handle dynamic environment. Some experience in print and/or broadcast ad production. Must be skilled in project management, billing and budget management. Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
