Advertising Media Coordinator - Part Time

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Advertising Media Coordinator is responsible for coordinating advertising media projects and supports all of DART¿s strategic initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates the purchasing of print space Creates Insertions Orders for every media purchase Processes and coordinates advertising for Chambers books and others Responsible for verification of media invoices Maintains media library organization (include Media Kits and Tearsheets) Coordinates DART signage (bus exteriors, bus interiors, rail, windscreens, corner markers and LED) posting instructions and confirmation Maintenance of internal checkbook for Departmental Support budget

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.Bachelors degree in Advertising/Marketing or related Field. Two year of client service/ professional experience required. Marketing and Advertising experience preferred. Proficient using personal computer (PC) and software applications to include EXCEL and Microsfot Word. Effective written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels, both inside and outside DART. Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented,

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to Advertising Media Supervisor *

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
