ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Sheshunoff is offering a great start up business opportunity if you possess the experience and qualifications required for an Independent Sales Representative for our banking and financial services publishing business. In this newly created position, you will represent web and print products, as well as audio conferences and other services and programs that are the best in the financial services industry.


GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
The individual will be responsible for generating profitable sales growth, which includes signing new business, developing prospects, and gaining market share within a territory. The person will work effectively with product vendors, banks and professional organizations. The individual provides updates and ongoing communications to the sales manager. He or she is also expected to participate in specific company-sponsored training and meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:

· Four year college degree preferred
· 2-5 years of experience in outside sales required; experience working print and web advertising is preferred.
· Must be able to demonstrate proven sales performance and consultative sales experience.
· Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
· Basic proficiency in use of Microsoft Windows/Office including E-mail and Internet, proficiency preferred.
· Some overnight travel may be required.
· Must be able and willing to set up and maintain a personal business office.
