The primary responsibilities of the Analyst / Senior Analyst role includes but is not limited to providing support to the Executive Director during Long Range Plan, Forecasts, Ultimate updates and any ad hoc requests from corporate or the division. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Assists in the preparation of the Long Range Plan, Budget, and Estimates for Worldwide Television Planning including Paramount and Dreamworks products* Assists in the preparation of the Ultimates/ Generics and liaisons with division/corporate management regarding revenue and ultimates issues* Participates in research/development/implementation process of new systems* Liasons with Corporate and Division executives regarding any ad hoc requests / analysis* Provides variance explanations to corporate as well as division executives* Assists in the preparation of deal valuations for new and re-negotiated deals based on contract terms* Assists in the preparation the Long Range Plan, Budget and Estimates for equity channel investments* Assists in the preparation division presentations of Long Range Plans and budgetsQualifications:Basic qualifications:* A Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business required* Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance / accounting required* Advanced proficiency in Excel including advanced modeling and data mining capabilities required, as well as Word and Powerpoint* Entertainment experience requiredDesired skills:* An MBA is preferred* A working knowledge of Access a plus* Ablity to handle detailed information efficiently and effectively* An understanding of terminology as it relates to the Worldwide television a plus* Ablity to work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division* Ablity to organize and schedule work effectively* Ability work well under time constraints* Ablity to handle multiple tasks* Ablity to reason through issues and resolve problems independently* Ablity to interact in a professional environment with a culturally diverse staff in a dynamic, fast paced environment* Ablity to work reasonable overtime, if necessaryEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJob ID # 1295Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5166Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
