Applications Architect: J2EE: Interactive Agency

We have an opportunity for an Applications Architect: J2EE within the Technology practice at Studiocom who will be providing expertise in all stages of the full project life-cycle process. You will be responsible for managing the development of web applications and/or software solutions for Studiocom clients. You will work with clients and Project Managers in architecting, planning, developing, and implementing technical solutions of the highest quality as well as supervise and coordinate the work of Developers and Programmers.

Experience5+ years of experience in designing and building multi-tier web-based enterprise applications for EXTERNAL CLIENTS in Java MUST have consulting experience with Professional Service OrganizationsMUST have experience with Content Management SystemsMUST have an understanding of Action Script and FlashMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Java technologies required Knowledge of the following tools: Java 5.0, Eclipse, Struts, Hibernate, Oracle SQL, Subversion, XML/SOAP, HTMLSolid working knowledge of UNIX and/or Windows environments Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Business Process Management, object-oriented programming/design, component-based development, databases, web Services, EAI, and security Interactive Agency and Online Marketing experience Significant experience in matching Internet technologies to business needs.

 

EducationBachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
