We have an upcoming opportunity for an Art Director within the Creative practice at Studiocom who will be responsible for communicating the conceptual and stylistic direction to the design staff.  You will orchestrate the work of production artists, photographers, illustrators, and other creative talents involved in the development of a project.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Functions Generate fresh and innovative ideas.Determine the look and feel of the entire site. Responsible for development of product branding. Visually communicate the product or service in a manner that will appeal to the target audience under time and space constraints.Create original graphics and icons for use on the site. Implement the web design parameters, style guides and visual standards.Establish and produces graphic material for use in advertising and promotion of online services and products. Generally manage a group of exempt and nonexempt employees.

 

Experience 6+ years of Web experience.Bilingual in Spanish and English requiredExperience managing creative teams and coordinating projects and creative resources in US and Latin-American marketsExperience working with all Departmental Leads to help facilitate communication between US and Latin American teams and make necessary creative team resource recommendations for projects

 

EducationBachelor's degree in Design or Fine Arts.

 

CompetenciesTypographical, motion graphic, information architecture and interaction design skillsIn-depth understanding of HTML/dHTML, Web browser’s capabilities and Flash.Leadership and communications skills are required in order to work with both the creative team and the client.Self motivated and able to work in different projects at the same time
