THE SKETCH
 
The focus of the Art Director position is to direct and supervise the image of each advertising project, or ad date, from initial creation to final release, ensuring that advertising meets or exceeds the client's expectations and marketing objectives while remaining within the creative budget. 

 

YOUR TOOLBOX

 

Education and Experience
 

4-year degree in fine arts, graphic design or applied arts preferred 

2-5 years of retail experience desirable

Portfolio that accurately represents knowledge of design/illustration skills

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  Outstanding attention to detail Devoted to getting timely and accurate results Independent working style with technical and intellectual focus requiring limited delegation Ability to communicate accurate information by providing all sides of the issue Quark, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
