ASSISTANT PRODUCT MANAGER - MARKETING

 

We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic Marketing professionals in the early stages of their career who have a passion for the education market.

 

Qualified candidates must possess a two-year college degree or equivalent experience along with at least one year of professional experience in a business environment (merchandising or direct-mail preferred). Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Showcase is a plus.  This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Marketing graduate with a solid history of professional employment and internships.

In this position you will be called upon to use your organizational and communication skills on a daily basis as you interact with vendors, creative, materials management and sales professionals.  We desire a detail-oriented individual who can work in a team environment. Together with the product manager you will have guided ownership of product lifecycle maintenance responsibilities working closely with vendors and internal customers to ensure our products are presented accurately in catalogs and on the web. This position plays a significant role in our annual catalog production, encompassing new vendor and product research, catalog authoring, and photography prep.
