Associate Brand Manager

 

Position Purpose

The individual in this position is responsible for supporting an assigned Brand Manager(s) to drive sales of Lindt products by planning and executing all necessary marketing mix activities, including new product development, packaging, pricing and promotion. Key Accountabilities

Marketing

· Responsible for supporting the assigned Brand Manager with the development of successful and profitable programs for key Lindt brands to ensure continued growth and establishment in the marketplace.

· Involvement in all Marketing activities, including New Product development, Packaging, Pricing and Promotional initiatives.

Category Management

· Responsible to take a pro-active approach to remain current on category trends and competitive developments in the marketplace through research and analysis.

· Assist the Brand Manager with analyzing viability and profit/sales potential for new segments, markets, and customers.

· Consistently track brand performance and communicate key learnings and developments to management using internal and external tools.

Sales /Retail Store Support

· Act as liaison with retail stores and Wholesale Field Sales/National Account Management to ensure that marketing programs are properly communicated and implemented.

· Maintain consistent communication with field sales to insure meaningful integration and alignment in meeting the needs of the customer and market.Position Requirements



Skills & Knowledge

· Highly motivated, flexible, and energetic

· Must be detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking capabilities

· Strong written and analytical skills required

· Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as basic knowledge of HTML and website maintenance, a plus

Experience

· Direct sales experience and/or retail experience is an asset

· Basic understanding and experience using marketing mix tools

· Previous experience in a Marketing position within the US food industry, a plus

 

 

Education

· BS Degree

· MBA definitely preferred
