Associate Manager, Marketing & Licensing Sales


Headquartered in New York City with an international office in London, 4Kids Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: KDE), is a global provider of children's entertainment and merchandise licensing. We acquire, develop and market children's properties globally and seek to maximize economic returns through a vertically integrated platform, including television, film, music and home video production and distribution; merchandise licensing; media buying and planning; product development; and Web site development.  Specifically, our company markets and licenses the following products: music and video, toys and games, video games & software, and publishing.

 

  Responsibilities:

 

·  Work on Licensing Sales of Character and Non-Character Brands with a focus on soft lines and the pet industry

·  Develop strategic marketing plans and materials including licensee product development initiatives and sales support programs

·  Develop and manage execution of consumer marketing programs including advertising, PR and promotions to drive sales of products

·  Work closely with licensees to build product marketing and retail sales support efforts

·  Manage development and execution of sales support materials for the network of licensees including trade show support for the brand

·  Manage development and execution of product development and creative materials in collaboration with the creative team

·  Develop brand extension initiatives including positioning and sales presentation materials

·  Work with key licensees on cross marketing initiatives and retail support programs

·  Coordinate with International agents to ensure materials, plans and best practices are shared across markets

·  Liaison with licensor and promotional partners on quarterly business updates

·  Manage marketing budgets and quarterly revenue forecasting.

 

Required Qualifications:

·  Ability to lead and manage creative projects and marketing services

·  Experience managing budgets

·  Possess strong creative writing skills, presentation and strategic thinking

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree required and 2 – 5 years sales experience
